Two alerts have been issued by the Maritime Domain Awareness for Trade - Gulf of Guinea (MDAT-GoG) following an incident involving pirates firing at a laden oil tanker. Reports suggest that the crew on board are safe and following evasive action the vessel was able to continue on its way.
