French authorities are hunting for the source of millions of tiny plastic pellets washing up on the beaches of France and Spain. Said to be an ‘environmental nightmare’ by France’s minister for ecological transition, Christophe Béchu, the French government has pledged it will take legal action when the culprit is found.
