The National Hurricane Center has expanded to provide more detail in its Offshore Zone forecast product. In the recent change the 32 offshore zones have become 52 and 8 new zones in the Atlantic Ocean have been created. This brings the total of our Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, and Atlantic Ocean offshore zones to 60.  These new smaller zones balance precision and clarity, improving the service to Blue Water mariners.
