A team exploring the oceans off Chile have discovered more than 100 strange-looking species that are likely to be new to science. The bright red walking sea toad is a type of deep-sea angler fish and comes complete with googly eyes and skin that looks like crochet.

It’s more like a sci-fi encounter.
