The IMO is urging the maritime community to light up their buildings, ships and monuments in green and blue to mark World Maritime Day on 29th September.

Slow down for killer whales!


Commercial Ships sailing through the Salish Sea area are urged to slow down and reduce noise in an effort to help the Southern Residence killer whale. With between only 70 and 75 individuals remaining in the population the killer whale is listed as endangered in both Canada and US.
